"Courteous" service and "spacious", "nicely decorated" rooms make this Midtown chain outpost a "good value"; on the downside, dissenters deem the "small" lobby "lackluster" and lament that check-in isn't until 4 PM, plus a few feel that it can get "a bit loud" with "sirens, honking and yelling" ("that's NYC!"); N.B. the in-house cafe serves breakfast only, but room service for lunch and dinner is available from Outback Steakhouse.

Very close to subway. Mini fridge and I Home alarm clock in room.

No open late coffeehouse near by, after 9 pm it's pretty dead around there on Friday night.

Overall a good location for business travelers. The first staff person I encountered at the front desk wasn't very friendly. She continued a private conversation with a co-worker for quite a long time. She didn't stop to acknowledge me, so I had to wait for her to finish her conversation. Respectful people employed there - concierge outstanding info.

Entry way is compartmentalized, and services all over different floors.

Room prices in NYC are typically. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Parking was in a separate location and of course, there are very few pools in NYC.
